About the hotline

What we are

Miami Roofing Hotline is a referral service. When you call the number on this site or send the request form, we pass your information to an independent, locally based roofing contractor who serves your area, and they contact you to schedule a visit. From that point on you deal with the contractor directly.

We built this because finding a roofer in this county is harder than it should be: the rules are strict, the season is unforgiving, and the difference between a repair and a replacement is a judgment call homeowners are asked to make with very little information. The pages on this site are meant to give you that information before anyone is on your roof.

What we are not

We are not a roofing contractor and we do not employ roofers. We do not perform or supervise work, set or quote prices, pull permits, collect payment, or provide a warranty. The contractor is responsible for their license, insurance, permit, materials, workmanship, and pricing. If something goes wrong with a job, the contractor is who you call, and the county building department and the Florida DBPR are who you complain to.

How the contractors are chosen

Contractors who receive calls from this line work in Miami-Dade, take on residential roofing, and serve Spanish-speaking homeowners as well as English-speaking ones. We do not verify licenses or insurance on your behalf; you should. Ask the contractor for their Florida roofing license number (it begins with CCC) and check it on MyFloridaLicense.com, and ask for proof of liability and workers’ compensation insurance before work begins.

What you give us goes to the contractor who takes your request and to the systems we use to route and record calls and messages. We do not sell it. See the privacy policy for the details.
